Salzburg's Lungau impresses with a total of around 150 km of cross-country skiing and skating trails and therefore offers perfect conditions for training technique, endurance, and speed. Absolute snow security is also important for cross-country skiing and so, in addition to the high-altitude cross-country ski trails at Prebersee and in Schönfeld, Salzburg's Lungau also has the snow-covered Lignitz high-altitude cross-country ski trail in Mariapfarr.

On a total of over 300 kilometers of slopes in the Katschberg, Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern ski areas, guests experience unadulterated snow fun.

There is a cable car to the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area (www.grosseck-speiereck.at) directly from the village (approx. 8 minutes by ski bus from the apartment).

The Katschberg ski area (www.Katschi.at) can be reached by ski bus in about 14 minutes

It takes about 14 minutes to get to Katschberghöhe, in the same area.

Of course, you can get everywhere by car, including Fanningberg (www.fanningberg.info — the same ticket for the lifts applies there).

Not far – you can reach Obertauern in about 20 minutes by car (www.obertauern.com). You can purchase multi-day tickets in Katschberg. They are also valid for Obertauern.
